A newly married man, identified as Dan Gaske Mai Masara, has reportedly been stabbed to death by his wife barely a week after their wedding in Tashar Aibo, Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The tragic development which started trending on Monday, November 24, revealed that the couple, who exchanged vows on Thursday, November 18, 2025, saw their marriage cut tragically short on Sunday, November 23, when the fatal incident occurred.

According to neighbours, the bride allegedly attacked her husband with a knife while he was asleep, delivering a deep cut to his neck.
The motive behind the stabbing has not been disclosed as authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
