Buba Galadima, a prominent figure in the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has declared that the party holds the key to Nigeria’s presidency in 2027.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, the 18th of August, 2025, asserted: “We are the people who will determine who will be the President of Nigeria in 2027.”
The NNPP chieftain, who hails from Kano, also expressed concern over rising insecurity in the state. He decried the inability of security agencies to act decisively while residents suffer frequent attacks.

“In some localities in Kano, criminals are killing people and collecting their GSM phones, while the police are tied down. Are they not ashamed,” he queried.
Galadima went further to accuse the Federal Government of deliberately using security forces, including the police, to create instability in Kano.
