Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has reaffirmed Borno State’s unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress, promising full support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign in 2027.
Addressing party stakeholders during the flag-off of the APC North-East e-registration workshop in Maiduguri, the governor said his administration would fully back efforts to complete the digital membership registration exercise across the region.
Zulum commended the APC-led federal government for restoring relative peace and rebuilding Borno after years of insecurity.
“Borno is 100% APC. Before the APC came, our people were living in fear, but today the story has changed,” he said.

He applauded both President Tinubu and former President Muhammadu Buhari for their continued commitment to fighting terrorism and reviving communities devastated by insurgency.
According to him, the North East Development Commission has also played a vital role in rebuilding infrastructure and supporting displaced persons.
The governor urged residents of Borno to begin early mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing that Tinubu’s leadership represents continuity and progress for Nigeria.
