2Face, Natasha Join Gov Alia at Star-Studded Benue Induction Dinner

Benue State played host to a rare moment in entertainment and leadership over the weekend as Governor Hyacinth Alia welcomed one of Nigeria’s most celebrated music icons, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2Face at the New Banquet Hall, Government House, Makurdi.

Sharing the highlights on his official Facebook page Sunday night, the governor revealed that 2Face and his new wife were in town for the “Induction Dinner and Official Unveiling of a New Phase of Leadership, Creativity, and Community Impact.”

Governor Alia hailed the evening as a “convergence of talent, passion, and purpose,” adding that it also featured the “official presentation of the 1 Voice Benue Manifesto, a call to action for unity, innovation, and social impact.”

He noted the standout presence of Benue’s brightest stars in music, film, comedy, fashion, and live performance, a reflection of the state’s rich creative pulse.

In his words, the gathering was a “powerful display of the creative energy that flows through our people.”

The governor reaffirmed his support for the young and talented across the state:

“I am proud to stand with our youth, our creatives, and all those committed to a better Benue. This is only the beginning.”

2Face’s appearance comes shortly after his appointment as Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach by the governor.
