Tinubu Heads to Kano Today to Condole With Dantata Family

President Bola Tinubu is expected to visit Kano State today, Friday, July 18, to commiserate with the government, people of the state, and the family of the late elder statesman and businessman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.

The announcement was made on Thursday, July 17, in a statement issued by the spokesperson to Governor Abba Yusuf, Sunusi Bature.

According to Bature, the visit is meant to honour Dantata’s memory and reflect a spirit of national unity and respect for Kano.

He stated, “The visit is a show of national unity and respect for the people of Kano and the legacy of the late industrialist.”

Governor Yusuf urged Kano residents to give the president a warm and peaceful reception in keeping with the state’s culture of hospitality.

The president’s visit follows the recent passing of Dantata, a highly respected philanthropist and businessman whose contributions to commerce and community development have touched lives across Nigeria.

Bature added that security and logistics have been properly arranged to ensure the president’s visit is smooth and dignified.
