Selena Gomez has revealed new details about her upcoming wedding to music producer Benny Blanco, saying preparations are going smoothly and that she feels “very lucky” as the big day approaches.
The singer and actress made the remarks on September 9, 2025, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she appeared alongside her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Asked about her wedding plans, Gomez said, “It’s wonderful. I’m very lucky. It’s going well. I’m so excited.”
She also playfully disclosed that Martin Short would serve as ring bearer.
Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, announced their engagement in December 2024 after more than a year of dating.

Although they have yet to confirm an official date, Gomez held a bachelorette party in Mexico in August 2025, signaling that the ceremony is drawing closer.
Reports indicate that invitations have gone out to close friends including Ed Sheeran, Paris Hilton, and her co-stars from the hit Hulu series.
While the couple has not released details about the theme or venue, the wedding is expected to be intimate but star-studded.
Industry observers note that the union brings together one of Hollywood’s most prominent multi-talented stars and a Grammy-winning producer credited with hits for artists such as Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, and Halsey.
