Reality TV personality and actress Phyna has bid farewell to her younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who was laid to rest in Ogun State.
Ruth’s life was cut short on the 31st of August, 2025, following a tragic accident involving a Dangote truck on the 13th of August.
At just 24, she had recently completed her studies at Auchi Polytechnic, graduating only six days before the crash that left her with critical injuries and the loss of a leg.
Her burial took place on Saturday, the 13th of September, 2025, at the family’s residence, where friends, relatives, and supporters gathered in mourning.
Among those present were fellow ex-BBNaija stars Christy O and Groovy, both dressed in black to stand in solidarity with Phyna.

The ceremony was heavy with emotions as loved ones offered their final tributes.
Since her passing, tributes have poured in from fans, colleagues, and associates, with many also showing up at the funeral to honor her memory.
