Dangote Truck Crushes Family in Enugu, Days After Phyna’s Sister’s Death

Tragedy struck on Wednesday at Four Corner Junction in Enugu State when a trailer, reportedly owned by the Dangote Group, rammed into a vehicle, killing all occupants of the car.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that no one in the vehicle survived the crash. A disturbing video circulating online shows the car completely flattened beneath the weight of the truck.

The fatal incident comes barely days after Ruth Otabor, younger sister of former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, died from injuries sustained in another crash involving a Dangote truck.

Ruth had been scheduled for medical evacuation abroad before she passed away.

The repeated accidents have reignited public outrage. Social media activist VeryDarkMan, who has been vocal about the recklessness of Dangote truck drivers, accused the company of employing unlicensed drivers.

As of Wednesday evening, neither the Enugu State Police Command nor the Dangote Group had issued an official statement regarding the Enugu crash.
