Osimhen Scores Again as Galatasaray Defeat Göztepe 3–1 in Istanbul

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen continued his impressive scoring form, finding the back of the net once again as Galatasaray came from behind to secure a 3–1 victory over Göztepe in their Turkish Super Lig clash on Sunday night.

The visitors stunned the home crowd early on when E. Bekiroğlu opened the scoring in the 6th minute, pouncing on a rebound after a powerful shot struck the crossbar.

Galatasaray responded swiftly, and it was Osimhen who leveled the score in the 15th minute, showing his trademark pressing and composure.

The Nigerian forward capitalized on a poor defensive back pass, stole the ball, rounded the goalkeeper, and slotted home — a finish reminiscent of his goal in the midweek Champions League encounter.

After the break, Gabriel Sara put Galatasaray ahead in the 63rd minute with a fine strike before Mauro Icardi sealed the victory just three minutes later, converting in the 66th minute to make it 3–1.

The result keeps Galatasaray firmly in the title race, with Osimhen’s consistency in front of goal continuing to make him a key figure for the Turkish champions.
