Prominent activist and co-convener of the #BringBackOurGirls movement, Aisha Yesufu, has called for stringent global action against election rigging, declaring that anyone involved in manipulating electoral processes should be treated as a terrorist.
Yesufu made the statement on Thursday in a post shared via her official X (formerly Twitter) account, where she condemned the rising trend of electoral malpractice in Africa and other parts of the world.
“Anyone rigging election must be treated as a terrorist! The world must come hard on election rigging,” she wrote.
