APC Will Win 2027 Elections Convincingly, Yilwatda Vows

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed strong confidence that the ruling party will secure a decisive victory in the 2027 general elections, pointing to what he called the broadening national acceptance of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Yilwatda made the remarks in Abuja on Sunday, December 7, while receiving the leadership of Women Leaders Support Advancement, a political advocacy group working to boost women’s participation in governance.

His comments came as the APC accelerated internal preparations for its upcoming National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings, slated for December 18 and 19 at the Presidential Villa.

“Our party is fully prepared for the future, and by the grace of God, the APC will win convincingly in 2027,” the APC chairman declared.

He praised President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for enhancing political inclusion, particularly for women and youths, stressing that the administration’s policies reflect the public’s demands for more representative leadership.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deliberately structured to address the concerns of women, youths, and all Nigerians who desire good governance and inclusive leadership,” he said.

Yilwatda also urged Nigerian women to sustain their support for the President, describing them as vital to the APC’s grassroots strength.

“I want to appreciate your dedication and encourage you to remain consistent in taking the message of the APC to every community in Nigeria.

“Women remain the backbone of political mobilisation, and your role is critical to our success,” he added.

In response, the group’s Matron and Co-founder, Dr. Martina Yilwatda, called on members to intensify their presence at the grassroots level.

“This platform must not only exist in name but must be felt in the homes, markets, and communities of our women.

“We must strengthen grassroots mobilisation, especially among women and youths, to deepen political participation and national development,” she said.

Founder of the group, Deborah Hornecker, accompanied by Secretary Zainab Musa, expressed appreciation to the APC chairman and his wife for their continued support.

“We sincerely appreciate the love and support shown to us by the APC chairman and his wife.

“We assure you that Women Leaders Support Advancement will mobilise women across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to support the APC and ensure victory for the party in 2027,” Hornecker said.

The delegation pledged continued initiatives to highlight the achievements of the Tinubu administration and expand women’s involvement in national politics.

Yilwatda’s confident projection comes as the APC strengthens its organisational structures nationwide and refines its electoral strategy ahead of the 2027 polls.
