City Boy Movement Names Soludo’s Daughter Anambra Women’s Leader

Adaora Soludo, daughter of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has been appointed women’s leader of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political support group, the City Boy Movement.

The appointment was announced on Thursday, February 26, 2026, with the movement stating that she will coordinate its women’s wing in Anambra State.

A media aide to Governor Soludo confirmed the development, describing the appointment as authentic.

The City Boy Movement’s South-East director, Obinna Iyiegbu, recently led members of the group on a visit to the governor, signaling growing political engagement by the organization.

The movement, affiliated with the All Progressives Congress, positions itself as a civic platform promoting democratic participation and national cohesion.

It says its membership spans traders, artisans, students, professionals and entrepreneurs, rejecting claims of elitism.

The group associates the “City Boy” identity with resilience and transformative leadership, values it says guide its activities.
