Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has criticised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, accusing him of prioritising housing projects for judges while allegedly neglecting other critical public servants such as doctors and teachers.
Sowore made the remarks in a post shared on his official account on the social media platform X on Saturday.
In the post, the activist alleged that the FCT minister had failed to provide housing for resident doctors and teachers in the Federal Capital Territory while focusing on constructing duplexes for members of the judiciary.
According to Sowore, the decision reflects misplaced priorities within the administration of the capital city.
He further alleged that resident doctors and teachers had not received similar housing support, suggesting that the focus on accommodation for judges could influence the administration of justice.
