Former Labour Party presidential flagbearer, Peter Obi, has sent goodwill messages to Muslims across Nigeria as they mark the 2026 Eid al-Fitr celebration.
In a message shared on his verified X account on Friday, the 20th of March, 2026, Obi urged the Muslim faithful to sustain the values of compassion, support for those in need, and collective efforts toward peace, justice, and national development.
He wrote, “My dear Muslim brothers and sisters, I rejoice with you on this blessed Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of Ramadan, a month of faith, sacrifice, discipline, and compassion.

“May the lessons of Ramadan; love, humility, generosity, and unity continue to guide us.
