The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has commenced the 2026 change of institution and course process for candidates seeking to adjust their admission choices after the release of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination results.
JAMB announced the development in a statement issued on Friday, May 15, 2026, by its spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, directing candidates to carry out the process at accredited Computer-Based Test centres nationwide.
The board said candidates who wish to change their institution or programme of study can now begin the process through any approved CBT centre.

Candidates were advised to visit accredited CBT centres for the printing of their official result slips and other related services.
The latest development comes weeks after JAMB released the 2026 UTME results, with candidates initially restricted to checking their scores through the SMS platform pending the release of the official result slips.
