The House of Representatives has adopted the report on the proposed establishment of state police and approved 18 constitutional amendment clauses as part of ongoing efforts to alter provisions of the 1999 Constitution.
The decision was taken on Thursday, June 11, 2026, during plenary presided over by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
