Former Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede has officially joined Nigeria Premier Football League side Kano Pillars after signing a two-year contract with the club.
Ogunmodede, who currently serves as an assistant coach of the Super Eagles, sealed the move as Kano Pillars continue to strengthen their technical crew ahead of the new football season.
The highly-rated tactician, who holds a UEFA B Licence, earned widespread recognition for his impressive work at Remo Stars, where he guided the Ikenne-based club to become one of the most competitive teams in the NPFL.

His appointment is expected to bring valuable experience to Kano Pillars, with the club aiming to challenge for domestic honours and improve its performances in the upcoming campaign.
Ogunmodede will combine his new role at Kano Pillars with his responsibilities as assistant coach of the Super Eagles, where he has been part of the national team’s coaching setup.
The two-year agreement marks a new chapter in the coach’s career as he takes on the task of leading one of Nigeria’s most successful and widely supported football clubs.
