Nollywood actress and United States military personnel, Grace Charis Bassey, has dismissed rumours claiming she is married to or engaged to actor Daniel Lloyd, describing the reports as false and misleading.
The actress made the clarification in a video shared on her Instagram page on Friday after a photo she posted with her colleague went viral, sparking widespread speculation about their relationship.
Addressing the rumour, Grace stated that she is neither married nor engaged to Daniel Lloyd and that there is no romantic relationship between them.
According to her, the photographs circulating on social media were taken during the production of a recent movie in which they both featured and had been taken out of context.
“It has come to my attention that a recent publication claimed I am engaged to actor Daniel Lloyd. This report is entirely false. I am not engaged or married to Daniel Lloyd, nor is there a romantic relationship between us,” she said.

She explained that the images were captured exclusively on the set of the film and urged the public not to attach personal meanings to them.
“The photographs circulating online were taken exclusively on the set of a recent movie project we worked on together. They have been completely taken out of context,” she added.
Grace appealed to fans, bloggers and media organisations to disregard the speculation and avoid spreading unverified information.
“I urge the public, fans and media houses to disregard this baseless rumour. Please refrain from spreading unverified stories. Thank you for your continued support,” she said.
The clarification comes after the photos generated widespread reactions online, with many social media users speculating that the pair had secretly tied the knot or become engaged.
