Chukwueze Returns To AC Milan As Amorim Confirms Winger’s Future

Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has returned to AC Milan following the conclusion of his loan spell at Fulham, with new head coach Ruben Amorim confirming the Nigerian will remain part of his plans for the new season.

Chukwueze, who spent the second half of last season on loan with the Premier League club, is back at the San Siro as Milan begin preparations for the 2026/27 campaign under Amorim.

Speaking on the winger’s future, Amorim expressed confidence in the 27-year-old, highlighting his ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.

“Chukwueze will stay with us. We need players who know how to play one-on-one, and he is capable of that. He can play on the right or the left,” the Portuguese tactician said.

Amorim’s comments suggest Chukwueze will have an opportunity to revive his Milan career after an inconsistent spell since joining the Italian giants.

The Nigerian international is expected to compete for a regular starting role as Milan continue preparations for the upcoming Serie A season.
