The remains of Prophetess (Dr.) Mrs. Serah Chinyere Chukwueze (née Onyegbule), mother of Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze, were laid to rest on Friday, May 29, in Umuahia, Abia State.
Family members, friends, well-wishers, and members of the football community gathered to pay their final respects to the late 59-year-old prophetess during the burial ceremony.
The solemn event drew emotional tributes for the deceased, who was described by loved ones as a caring mother, devoted Christian, and strong pillar of support to her family and community.
Condolence messages have also continued to pour in for Chukwueze and his family following the painful loss.
