Legendary gospel singer and worship leader Ron Kenoly has died at the age of 81, sparking an outpouring of tributes from artistes and worshippers across the world.

News of Kenoly’s passing was confirmed on Sunday through multiple social media posts by fellow gospel musicians, who celebrated his enduring legacy and impact on global Christian music.

Renowned Nigerian gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey paid an emotional tribute on Instagram, describing Kenoly as a towering inspiration to generations of worship leaders.

“Dr Ron Kenoly crosses to yonder side,” Bassey wrote.
