Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has revealed that at least 10 women have reconciled with their former husbands after reaching out to her for guidance following her own reconciliation with her ex-husband.
Dikeh made the disclosure in a post shared on her Instagram page on Monday, where she reflected on forgiveness, healing and family restoration.
According to the actress, hundreds of women contacted her after learning about her reconciliation, with many seeking to understand how she was able to forgive and move forward.
“Ever since my reconciliation with my ex-husband, hundreds of women have reached out asking the same question: How did you learn to forgive?” she wrote.
Dikeh said she was unable to respond to everyone but deliberately reached out to some women whose experiences were similar to hers.
She revealed that her efforts had resulted in the reconciliation of at least 10 women with their former partners.
“While I couldn’t reply to everyone, I reached out to those whose pain mirrored my own. Today, to the glory of God, at least 10 women have been reconciled, restoring peace, healing hearts, and stepping into healthy co-parenting,” she said.
The actress described the development as evidence that her personal experience had become a means of helping others overcome similar challenges.
“God has truly turned my personal story into a tool for restoration,” she added.
Dikeh urged women struggling with resentment to embrace forgiveness, stressing that letting go of bitterness was ultimately beneficial to the person carrying the emotional burden.
“If you are carrying bitterness today, please hear this: Forgiveness is never for the person who hurt you; it is for you. It is the key to moving your life forward,” she said.

She also cautioned against allowing personal pain to become a reason for wishing harm on others, urging people to take responsibility for releasing emotional burdens.
“God will not inflict pain on others just because we are hurting. It is our own responsibility to release that weight and set ourselves free,” she stated.
According to Dikeh, genuine closure does not necessarily come from the people who caused the hurt but through faith in God.
“True closure doesn’t come from people, it comes from God,” she said.
She further referenced the biblical promise of restoration, expressing confidence that painful experiences and lost years could eventually become sources of testimony.
“He promises to restore the years that the cankerworm has eaten. Not just days or weeks, but years. Every tear you’ve shed and every year spent in pain will be turned into a powerful testimony,” she wrote.
Dikeh concluded her message by offering prayers for women seeking peace, healing and restoration within their families.
“To every woman praying for peace, healing, and family restoration: may my story be a beacon of hope for you and yours. Amen,” she said.
Her post comes amid renewed public attention to her relationship with her former husband, with the actress increasingly speaking about forgiveness, personal growth and the possibility of rebuilding relationships after difficult experiences.
