Access Bank Plc has appointed Mrs. Ifeyinwa Osime as Chairman of its Board of Directors following the retirement of Mr. Paul Usoro, SAN, who stepped down after completing his regulatory tenure.
The appointment was announced on Monday, February 2, 2026, by Access Holdings Plc, the bank’s parent company.
Mrs. Osime has been a member of the Access Bank board since November 2019, serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
She previously chaired key committees, including Human Resources and Sustainability, as well as Governance, Nomination and Remuneration.
A legal practitioner with extensive experience in corporate governance and board leadership, Mrs. Osime is expected to provide continuity and strategic oversight as the bank advances its growth and governance objectives.

Mr. Usoro, who became chairman in 2022, was credited with strengthening the bank’s governance framework during his tenure.
