Adamu Abubakar, son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Adamu, who once served as a commissioner in Adamawa State, had earlier stepped down from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026.
Not long after leaving the PDP, he finalised his online registration with the ADC.
The move places him in the same political party where his father plans to seek the presidency in the 2027 election.
