Prominent activist Aisha Yesufu has questioned the global recognition of English language variations, asking why Nigerian English is not equally acknowledged like its American counterpart.
In a post shared on Tuesday via her official X (formerly Twitter) account, Yesufu posed a thought-provoking question: “If there can be American English, why can’t there be a Nigerian English?”
