In a symbolic movement of celebrating African women’s football, Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, alongside star forward Asisat Oshoala and fellow national team captains, unveiled the newly designed Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) trophy.
The unveiling ceremony, which took place ahead of the much-anticipated 2025 WAFCON tournament, was a visual spectacle that drew dignitaries, football legends, and fans from across the continent.
