The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, alongside key figures of the All Progressives Congress, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across Nigeria as they mark the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement issued on Friday through his media aide, Akpabio congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, urging them to uphold the values of compassion, forgiveness, and unity that define the season.
“This joyous celebration reminds us of the profound values of compassion, forgiveness, and unity that Eid-el-Fitr embodies,” he said, while encouraging continued acts of kindness, generosity, and support for the less privileged.
The Senate President also extended his goodwill to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, praying for peace, progress, and prosperity across the country.
Similarly, the APC candidate for the 2026 Osun governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji, felicitated with Muslims in Osun State, commending their spiritual discipline and sacrifice during the holy month.

He also stressed the importance of visionary leadership in driving economic growth, job creation, and youth empowerment in the state.
In the same vein, the APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, called on Muslims to maintain the spiritual discipline cultivated during Ramadan, emphasising that devotion should extend beyond the fasting period.
