Apple has launched Apple TV in Nigeria, nearly seven years after the streaming service debuted globally, bringing its original films and series to the country alongside Apple Arcade.
The company announced the expansion on September 15, 2026, as part of a wider rollout of iCloud+ with Apple TV and Apple Arcade across more than 100 countries and regions.
Apple TV debuted on November 1, 2019. The latest expansion adds 59 markets, taking the service’s global availability to 170 countries.
In Nigeria, Apple TV and Apple Arcade are included with paid iCloud+ plans at no additional charge. The plans start at N1,300 monthly for 50GB and range up to N66,900 for 12TB. Other tiers are 200GB at N4,500, 2TB at N14,900 and 6TB at N39,900 monthly.
Subscribers can watch Apple Originals including Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio and Pluribus, alongside films such as CODA and F1.

Apple Arcade adds more than 200 games, including Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition. The games carry no adverts or in-app purchases and are available on compatible Apple devices.
The iCloud+ plans also provide expanded storage for photos, files and backups, with Family Sharing allowing a subscription to be shared with up to five family members.
Apple Music Select has also been made available to Nigerian iCloud+ subscribers, offering curated stations without advertising. Full Apple Music plans cost N1,500 monthly for individuals and N2,500 for families.
The rollout follows Apple’s earlier expansion of digital services in Nigeria. Apple Music arrived as part of its global launch in June 2015, while Netflix included Nigeria in its major international expansion in January 2016.
Apple said Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as standalone subscriptions in Nigeria. Existing subscribers will retain access through iCloud+, while Apple Arcade users will keep their saved game progress.
The launch adds Apple’s streaming and gaming services to its established digital offerings in Nigeria, broadening the company’s entertainment ecosystem in the country.
