Arsenal tightened their grip on the top of the Premier League table on Wednesday night with a composed 2–0 victory over Brentford at the Emirates Stadium.

Brentford attempted to settle into the game and mounted a few threatening moments of their own, but Arsenal’s dominance in possession and control in midfield kept the visitors largely contained.
