Leeds United delivered a statement performance on Wednesday night, claiming a resounding 3–1 victory over Chelsea at a charged Elland Road.
The home crowd erupted just six minutes into the encounter when Bijol J pounced to give Leeds an early advantage, setting the tone for a high-intensity contest.
The pressure continued to mount on the visitors, and in the 43rd minute, Tanaka A doubled the lead with a composed finish, leaving Chelsea trailing at the break.
Chelsea showed signs of revival early in the second half, as Pedro Neto halved the deficit in the 50th minute with a well-taken goal that briefly shifted momentum in favour of the London side.

However, Leeds refused to be rattled. Former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin put the result beyond doubt in the 73rd minute, slotting home the third goal and restoring the two-goal cushion to seal a memorable night for the hosts.
The defeat adds further pressure on Chelsea as inconsistency continues to plague their campaign, while Leeds celebrate a morale-boosting triumph in front of their home supporters.
