Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has strongly condemned the persistent wave of terrorism and violence across Nigeria, describing the attacks as a serious threat to national unity and stability.
In a statement shared on X on Saturday, Atiku denounced the continued acts of terror, stating that such violence against innocent citizens represents a grave violation of shared human values and must not be allowed to define the nation.
He expressed deep sympathy for families who have lost loved ones and extended solidarity to communities affected by the attacks, acknowledging the emotional and social toll of the ongoing insecurity.
The former presidential candidate emphasised that safeguarding lives and property remains the primary responsibility of government, calling for renewed urgency, stronger coordination, and a more decisive approach in tackling the security crisis.
