Atiku Meets Dele Momodu In Abuja, Discusses Nigeria’s Future

Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday met with media entrepreneur and publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu, at his residence in Abuja.

The meeting was disclosed by Momodu in a post on his official X account, where he shared details of the engagement.

According to Momodu, discussions during the visit focused on national development and their shared commitment to Nigeria’s progress.

“H.E. Atiku Abubakar this afternoon met with Aare Dr. Dele Momodu at his residence in Abuja. As always, the conversation was centred on Nigeria’s progress and the shared commitment to nation-building. The work never stops,” Momodu wrote.

Although details of the meeting were not made public, the visit comes amid ongoing political consultations and realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Atiku, who recently emerged as the ADC’s presidential candidate, has continued to engage with political stakeholders, party leaders and prominent Nigerians as part of efforts to strengthen the opposition coalition and advance discussions on governance and national development.

Momodu, a former presidential aspirant and long-time political commentator, has remained an influential voice in Nigeria’s political space and has consistently advocated reforms aimed at improving governance and democratic institutions.

The meeting has since generated reactions among political observers, who view it as part of broader consultations taking place across the country ahead of the next electoral cycle.
