Atiku Abubakar’s media aide, Paul Ibe, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s government, saying it has “elevated forgery to a state policy.”
“The Tinubu-led APC administration not only elevated forgery to a state policy, it innovatively appointed an individual with the set skills in the science and innovation of forgery,” Ibe said.
His statement followed the resignation of Uche Nnaji, the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology.
Reacting to the development in a post on X on Wednesday the 8th of October, 2025, Ibe referenced Atiku Abubakar’s earlier remark describing the Tinubu administration as “an assembly of forgers, impostors, and morally bankrupt individuals masquerading as public servants.”

Atiku had said Nnaji’s resignation revealed “the deep moral crisis at the heart of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.”
He added that what the government called a voluntary resignation was in fact an effort to “whitewash yet another scandal that typifies the forgery-ridden character of this government.”
