Google has expanded its AI Mode feature in Google Search to 36 additional languages, including Modern Standard Arabic, increasing its availability to over 200 countries and territories.
The company announced the rollout on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
First launched in 2023, AI Mode integrates advanced artificial intelligence into Google Search, allowing users to receive contextual, conversational, and personalized search results.
Unlike traditional search, which returns a list of links, AI Mode provides concise summaries, highlights key points, and generates tailored suggestions based on the user’s query.
The expansion aims to make AI-enhanced search more accessible globally, particularly in regions where English is not the primary language.
Modern Standard Arabic, spoken across 22 countries, represents a major addition for users seeking localized, context-aware answers.
The feature now spans languages from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, reflecting Google’s strategy to democratize access to AI-powered information worldwide.

By combining traditional search results with AI-generated insights, users can better understand complex topics, make informed decisions, and access information quickly.
Industry analysts note that the expansion comes amid increasing competition in the AI search space, including Microsoft-backed Bing AI and OpenAI-powered tools.
By supporting multiple languages, Google further consolidates its position as a global leader in search and AI innovation.
The rollout also highlights Google’s commitment to digital inclusion, aiming to bridge information gaps for users who previously lacked access to AI-enhanced search in their native languages.
