Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has revealed that he took a ₦5 million loan to secure a spot on the reality show.
In a candid video titled “Faith is Dead”, shared on his YouTube channel on Friday, October 10, 2025, Faith discussed the challenges he faced before and during his time in the BBNaija house.
He described taking the loan as a “leap of faith”, admitting he was uncertain about his future but saw joining the show as a chance to pursue his dreams.
He said, “I was pissed, like what am I going to do in this country as a doctor? But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality show. I took a loan of ₦5 million and somehow I made it.”
Faith also disclosed that he struggled with mental health challenges during his stay in the house.
He admitted feeling overwhelmed and isolated, and requested professional mental health support multiple times.
“I wasn’t perfect. I made a lot of mistakes. I screamed, I argued, I broke things. I asked for a therapist over three times because I knew I needed help,” he said.
He was disqualified on Thursday, October 2, 2025, following a physical altercation with fellow housemate Sultana.

Despite this, he expressed no regrets, emphasizing the personal growth and lessons gained, including resilience, self-awareness, and staying true to oneself.
Faith also thanked his fans for their support, acknowledging their belief in him as “a man with flaws, passion, and purpose.”
After his disqualification, fans launched a GoFundMe campaign to support him, highlighting the strong connection he built with his audience.
