Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Joanna has publicly denied claims by fellow reality star Jason Jae that they had a “one-night stand” while in the Big Brother house.
The controversy resurfaced during the second episode of the BBNaija reunion aired on Tuesday night, where Joanna addressed comments Jason made in a post-show interview following her eviction from the reality show.
Recall that Joanna and Jason shared what appeared to be an intimate moment on the night before her eviction.
However, viewers were left speculating about what transpired after the cameras shifted away from the scene.
Following the show, Jason described the incident as a “one-night stand,” a remark that Joanna said left her shocked and disappointed.
Speaking during the reunion, Joanna insisted that nothing intimate happened between them and accused Jason of creating a misleading narrative.
“The very first interview Jason Jae had, he claimed that the incident was a ‘one-night thing’. I was shocked like, ‘Are you a baby?’” she said.
According to Joanna, she was emotionally vulnerable that night following the eviction of fellow housemate Thelma and had gone to sleep when Jason joined her in bed.
“I was sleeping when he came to my bed. I was very emotional because it was the night Thelma got evicted. I woke up to see him in my bed,” she explained.

Joanna further alleged that she noticed Jason was physically aroused and attempted to shield him from public view.
“He was hard as a rock. I noticed it, and I tried to cover him up. Only for him to go out and say we had a one-night stand,” she lamented.
In response, Jason apologised for creating the impression that they had engaged in a sexual encounter, acknowledging that his comments may have been misunderstood.
However, he maintained that he never had romantic feelings for Joanna and rejected her claim that he pursued her after being turned down by fellow housemate Dede.
Jason insisted that he was not interested in Joanna romantically, contrary to her suggestion that she refused to become a rebound after Dede’s rejection.
The exchange added another layer of drama to the ongoing BBNaija reunion, which has seen several former housemates revisit unresolved conflicts, relationships and controversies from their time in the house.
