Blessing CEO Explains Why Marriages Keep Failing

Contentious relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has shared her perspective on why many marriages no longer stand the test of time.

Speaking during an interview with Instablog TV, she blamed the frequent collapse of modern unions on excessive communication and the growing influence of social media.

She explained that traditional support systems once used to settle marital disputes have lost their relevance in today’s society.

Blessing pointed out that while women now enjoy more freedom and access to opportunities, some find it difficult to manage that independence alongside their romantic relationships.

She also said that a woman’s accomplishments may threaten her partner’s sense of masculinity not because of what she has achieved, but due to how that success is expressed.

Her advice to women: stay soft and retain feminine energy, even in the midst of personal or professional success. She warned that becoming overly dominant or competitive might push husbands to seek affection elsewhere or even walk away from the relationship.

“In our generation, because I am working and earning money, even if I am quarreling with my husband, what do I need to go to my husband for? Once a woman becomes independent, they begin to rub shoulders with men.

“A lot of people say that whenever a woman becomes successful the man becomes insecure. The truth is that no man is intimidated by your success, they are only afraid of the masculinity that comes with success.

“So women should always remember to be soft, no matter how much you have, because once you start to drag shoulders with your husband, he begins to cheat and look for a woman that is softer or he leaves the marriage,” Blessing CEO said.
