Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles home was burglarized late Thursday night while the acclaimed actor was overseas promoting his latest film, “F1,” according to reports from U.S. media outlets.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that officers responded to a break-in around 10:30 p.m. local time at a residence in the Los Feliz neighborhood. While police have not officially identified the homeowner, multiple sources, including NBC News and the Los Angeles Times, reported that the property belongs to Pitt.
According to law enforcement sources cited by those outlets, three suspects reportedly scaled a front fence and entered the home by breaking through a front window. The intruders proceeded to ransack the premises before fleeing the scene with stolen items. Authorities have not disclosed the nature or value of the stolen property.
Pitt, 61, was not present during the incident, as he has been on a promotional tour for F1, his upcoming racing thriller. The actor was in London earlier this week for the film’s premiere.

Public records and a report by Variety confirm that Pitt purchased the Los Feliz property in 2023 for $5.5 million.
This incident adds to a growing list of celebrity burglaries in the Los Angeles area. In February, French footballer Olivier Giroud, who plays for Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles FC, reported the theft of approximately $500,000 in jewelry from his home. That same month, the residence shared by Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban was also reportedly targeted by burglars.
The LAPD investigation into the break-in at Pitt’s home remains ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
