Fuji maestro Saheed Osupa has responded after Burna Boy mentioned him among his greatest musicians ever.
During a conversation with tennis star Roger Federer, the Afro-fusion singer disclosed that his “GOAT singers are mostly Fuji artists like Saheed Osupa.”
Taking to his X account on Thursday, the 25th of September, 2025, Osupa said Burna Boy’s recognition was “a monumental moment that celebrates the soul of Fuji music and its timeless influence.”
He noted that the tribute “not only, uplifts my journey, but also, shines a brilliant light on our rich cultural heritage, bridging generations and genres worldwide.”

Osupa expressed gratitude to Burna Boy for the global acknowledgment and hinted at his excitement to attend one of the singer’s shows.
In the same interview, Burna Boy also listed 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G, Big Pun, and J Hus as his ‘GOAT rappers.’
