The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the AFCON Morocco 2025 Local Organising Committee have unveiled a major travel incentive for fans heading to the continent’s biggest football showpiece — free electronic visas.
Announced on Friday, the new policy allows supporters from visa-required countries to enter Morocco at no cost, easing travel as excitement builds ahead of the tournament scheduled for December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
According to a CAF statement, the e-visas will be accessible exclusively through the YALLA app, an all-in-one platform designed to simplify travel procedures for visiting fans.
CAF noted that global interest in AFCON 2025 has surged in recent months, with ticket bookings rising steadily.
To gain full access during their stay, fans will need two key documents — a Fan ID and the free e-visa. Both can be applied for within the YALLA app.
“The Fan ID is compulsory for entry into stadiums and official fan zones,” CAF explained. “Supporters can complete both the Fan ID and e-visa applications in one place, making travel and stadium access faster, easier, and more secure.”
Fans are encouraged to download the YALLA app on Google Play or the App Store, or visit the official website to complete their applications.

Once approved, match tickets can then be purchased via the CAF ticketing platform.
CAF said the initiative is part of broader efforts to deliver a smooth and secure experience for the tens of thousands expected to travel for the event, which will take place across nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities.
As Morocco hosts AFCON for the first time since 1988, anticipation continues to build for what promises to be a thrilling tournament featuring 24 nations, fierce rivalries, and Africa’s rising football talents.
