Activist Charles Oputa, fondly called Charly Boy, has accused former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, of working as a spy for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He described Sowore as a “green snake under green grass” while reacting to the activist’s criticism of Abia State Governor, Alex Otti.
Sowore had earlier stated that “I can confirm to everyone that Alex Otti is a failure, he is only doing half transformation in Abia State. I don’t believe in that.”
Responding via his X handle on Monday, the 23rd of March, 2026, Charly Boy questioned Sowore’s motives and referenced a past encounter during the Buhari “Resume or Resign” protest.

He wrote: “I no surprise say you fit talk dis kin tin. Mr Sowore wey I encounter since Buhari “Resume or Resign” protest, is a snake in the green grass.
“The only difference with him and Reno be say Reno dey show him hunger, Sowore dey hide him own. He’s an APC spy, if you know you know.”
