…Appoints Oladiti as Replacement
The City Boy Movement (CBM) has removed its Oyo State Coordinator, Ahmed Ajibola, following disciplinary proceedings over allegations of gross misconduct, insubordination and conduct allegedly prejudicial to the interests of the organisation.
Ajibola’s removal came about two months after the movement issued him a formal notice to show cause, asking him to respond to allegations contained in a petition against him.
In a notice dated June 2, 2026, and signed by the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, Ajibola was accused of making abusive, insulting and derogatory remarks against the movement’s national leadership, including the Director-General.
The petition also alleged that he made offensive comments concerning the movement’s Patron, Barr. Seyi Tinubu, and directed derogatory remarks at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Other allegations included acts of insubordination and disrespect towards constituted authority, challenging a movement leader in the state to a physical confrontation, allegedly creating division and factionalisation within the Oyo State chapter, and conduct capable of bringing the organisation into disrepute.
The movement had directed Ajibola to submit a written defence within 48 hours, warning that failure to provide a satisfactory response could attract further disciplinary action.
