Carmen Andrade, one of the conjoined twins who has gained public attention alongside her sister, Lupita Andrade, has criticised ongoing public fascination with her intimate life and marriage to Daniel McCormack.
In an interview published by People magazine on September 18, 2025, Carmen said she was troubled by repeated questions about her sexual life, describing them as intrusive.
“I don’t understand why people need to know about my private parts,” she said.
Her husband, Daniel, who she married in October 2024 after meeting through a dating app in 2020, also expressed frustration over the scrutiny, adding, “People are obsessed with sex … and it is just like, frankly, it’s none of your f****ng business.”
Lupita Andrade, who identifies as asexual, made it clear that she is not part of Carmen and Daniel’s relationship dynamics.
She described her bond with Daniel as familial and said public attempts to draw her into discussions of the couple’s private life were unwarranted.

The Andrade sisters are conjoined at the torso and share several organs, including parts of their reproductive system, though they each have separate hearts and lungs.
They have previously spoken openly about their health challenges, including endometriosis and the use of hormone blockers.
The twins have also stated that, despite their shared anatomy, they cannot become pregnant.
Carmen’s remarks underline the challenges of balancing public visibility with personal privacy.
By rejecting invasive questions and emphasising boundaries, the Andrade twins continue to advocate for being recognised as individuals rather than subjects of public curiosity.
