Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo and a new mother, has opened up about her childbirth experience.
Sharing her story via Snapchat on Monday, Priscilla recounted how she was rushed to the hospital around 3 a.m. after labour contractions set in.
She revealed that the intensity of the pain abruptly ended her plans to “slay” and create content to mark the special moment.
“We had to rush to the hospital at 3 a.m.! Contractions isn’t a joke. All plans to slay at the hospital and create content were cancelled,” she wrote.
She also disclosed that her son, Rakeem, arrived earlier than expected, skipping his father’s birthday, which was meant to be his due date.
#juma_jux sorry, my love, your son wants to shine alone,” Priscilla joked.

Recall that on July 24, Priscilla and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, announced via Instagram that they were expecting their first child.
The couple later revealed at a gender reveal party in Tanzania that they were expecting a baby boy.
In the days leading up to the birth, Priscilla was also celebrated with a baby shower in Canada, attended by her mother, Iyabo Ojo, actress Lola Alao, and close friends.
Priscilla and Juma tied the knot earlier this year in a lavish six-part wedding that spanned Tanzania and Nigeria between February and May.
