The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has disowned a former staff member, Olakunle Alex Folarin, who recently appeared on a matchmaking programme hosted on Lege Miami’s social media platforms.
In a statement on Monday, the Commission clarified that Folarin was recently dismissed from service for certificate forgery.
The anti-graft agency stated that he previously served as a driver at the Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the EFCC.

The EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has ordered Folarin’s arrest after it was discovered that he was still in possession of Commission property, including an official identity card, which he failed to return after his dismissal.
The Commission stressed that Folarin’s activities have no connection with the EFCC and urged the public not to associate his conduct with the agency.
