Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has added another accolade to his stellar career as his fourth studio album, Timeless, has officially received Silver Certification in the United Kingdom.
According to music analytics platform Chart Data, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified the album after it surpassed 100,000 unit sales in the UK — the benchmark for earning a silver plaque.
Released on March 31, 2023, Timeless showcases Davido’s artistic versatility across 17 tracks that fuse genres such as Afrobeats, reggae, dancehall, konto, highlife, and Afropop. The project features collaborations with a diverse lineup of global stars including Skepta, Asake, Dexta Daps, Angelique Kidjo, Cavemen, and Fave.
Beyond critical acclaim, the album enjoyed remarkable commercial success, smashing streaming records on platforms like Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube.

The impact of Timeless extended to global music awards. The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album, while the chart-topping single Unavailable earned a Grammy nod for Best African Song Performance and was also certified Silver in the UK. Another standout track, Feel, secured a nomination for Best Global Song Performance.
Following the release, Davido launched the Timeless Tour, performing in major cities across North America and Europe — including Washington D.C., Toronto, New York, and London — further solidifying his international presence.
The UK Silver Certification marks a major milestone for Davido, reinforcing his status as one of Africa’s most influential and globally recognized artists.
