Deadly Raid in Adamawa: Ex-Councillor Murdered, Sons Taken

Terrorists launched a deadly attack on Kirchinga community in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State on Sunday, November 30, 2025, killing a former councillor and abducting his two sons.

The victim, Hon. Thlama Sini, previously represented Kirchinga Ward as a councillor.

Family sources said gunmen stormed his home late Sunday night, dragging him and his two sons into a nearby forest.

Despite Sini’s pleas, citing his diabetes and hypertension, the attackers refused to spare him.

Sini was shot dead on the outskirts of the village, while his sons were taken away.

Kirchinga is the home village of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
