Defence Firm Vows Deeper Partnerships to Boost National Security

The Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria–D7G has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s defence and security architecture, pledging deeper collaboration with government institutions, private sector partners and international allies in 2026.

The assurance was given on Monday in an end-of-year message issued by the Chief Executive Officer of DICON-D7G, Mr Osman Chennar, as the organisation reviewed its operations in 2025 and outlined strategic priorities for the coming year.

Chennar expressed appreciation to stakeholders, partners and the general public for their continued support, describing 2025 as a significant year in advancing national security and sustainable development.

Reaffirming support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, he said the policy framework continues to provide purposeful leadership and drive strategic transformation across key sectors, particularly in security and defence.

According to him, DICON-D7G remains fully aligned with the administration’s vision, with a strong commitment to national service, security and stability.
