Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Iran in an international friendly played on Friday in Antalya,

Turkey, delivering a strong statement performance as preparations continue under head coach Eric Chelle.

The three-time African champions wasted no time asserting dominance, with Moses Simon opening the scoring in just the 6th minute to hand Nigeria an early advantage.

The encounter formed part of both teams’ international preparations, with Iran using the fixture as build-up towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
