Ecobank Adire Lagos 2026 Concludes, Showcasing Africa’s Creative Strength

The fifth edition of the Ecobank Adire Lagos Experience has successfully ended after four days of celebrating African creativity, cultural heritage, and enterprise.

Held from June 11 to June 14, 2026, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC), Victoria Island, Lagos, the event brought together exhibitors, designers, artisans, and creative entrepreneurs from across Nigeria and other African countries under the theme “Threads Across Borders.”

This year’s edition placed renewed emphasis on Adire, Nigeria’s indigenous hand-dyed textile, underscoring its continued evolution from a traditional craft into a globally recognised fashion and lifestyle expression.

With more than 100 exhibitors in attendance, the showcase featured a strong presence of Nigerian fashion and textile brands alongside participants from other African markets, reinforcing growing intra-continental collaboration within the creative industry.

The event also featured cultural exhibitions, indigenous cuisine, live performances, and business networking sessions designed to deepen engagement across the creative value chain and expand market access for small and medium-scale enterprises.

Organisers said the platform continues to serve as a bridge between culture and commerce, providing visibility for local creatives while strengthening opportunities within Africa’s expanding creative economy.

As the 2026 edition concluded, Ecobank Adire Lagos further cemented its status as one of the continent’s notable cultural showcases, spotlighting the intersection of heritage, innovation, and enterprise in shaping Africa’s creative future.
